help me polarize, help me polarize / help me out Pol doesn't talk, and that's okay. She's able to get things across despite that through a mix of sign language, humming, and scribbled writings in the dirt. As far as anyone can tell, there's not anything physically wrong with her; she's just completely unable to make a sound, and has been that way for a long time now. She wasn't born with it, although she was a quiet cub of few words, but... something happened that may as well have flicked her ability to speak to "off" permanently. Some kets theorize that she had a run-in with one of the domain guardians, but it's hard to say. She doesn't get along very well with just about anyone, ketucari or not, and spends a lot of time by herself just enjoying nature. Nature doesn't ask questions. That being said, being alone for so long isn't good for Pol. Even the scared loner needs company, and when she has the emotional energy for it she's a very good listener-- think Norma from Orange is the New Black with less people skills. Pol identifies more as feminine than masculine, and uses she/her pronouns. She can sometimes sing (albeit very, very quietly), and when she does she sounds like the singer of twenty one pilots, because Leontids is shameless. All of the noises she can make are barely audible unless you're right next to her, and even when singing she can't form words-- just mumbling that sounds vaguely like the intended lyrics. Comeback 469 calls her "Mono", and she's prone to swiping at him if he gets up in her personal space.
