TLDR: A bard- a cheeky troublemaker, loves to banter. Quick on their feet and with their words. They would love to absolutely decimate you in a battle of wits (or so they wholeheartedly believe they will come out the winner). They've grown something of a god complex, and also in typical bard fashion, would happily sleep with the whole town. Underneath the flair and spectacle they do have a heart, and a soft spot for kids and those in need of help. Sometimes their heart just gets a little lost. 

History:

A bard! They began their journey as one does- seeking adventure and inspiration to write and perform ballads. For better or worse, they found the adventure of a lifetime. They helped right wrongs, protected caravans of weary travelers, advocated for nature, but along the way something went wrong. The constant thank yous. The expectation to always be able to solve any problem. The thrill of the first time they told an enemy to kill himself... and he actually did! With nothing but words, authority, and the imposing threat of the massive, muscular bard- an enemy actually turned his knife upon himself rather than face their wrath. 

Though they learned many things along the way, the lesson that "power corrupts" came too late. They found this new power to simply talk an enemy into death far too tantalizing. They reached out for even more power and made a deal with a devil, granting them a new, vicious form to take. If their enemies wouldn't simply fall dead before them, they would rip them to shreds. 

All to protect the innocent of course! There are children that look to them for safety after all. They have to be the strongest, the most powerful, the bravest. They must have the strongest allies. All to protect those who need protecting, or at least that's the lie they've fed themselves. Wrongs must be righted and who else could do it? There's no one else around who would do it, so they must be sure to gather more power- just in case their next foe is nigh unstoppable.
