Cunning, ruthless, heartless and sadistic. A shadowy toa who leaves no trace of who he is, what he's after, or that he was ever there. He kills with no regret, and plots ten steps ahead of everyone else. There isn't a drop of morals or kindness in his heart, only drive and desperation. Every pawstep is planned, every turn of his head calculated. His eyes glitter with malice and mania and he thinks of nothing but himself and his own needs and desires.

Nightingale was born to pirates alongside his sister Arcturus. The separated from the pirates young, but on good terms, to join land folks. Arc found a pack, Nightingale...
Nightingale found Lux. And fell in love, or something very like love. The Nightingale's Cry was always a selfish creature. Selfish and entitled. The world existed for him--which the Pirates encouraged--and he was never particularly pleasant about things not going his way. But Lux was spared this. Lux brought a soft side out of Nightingale.
Unfortunately, Lux was ill.
Very ill.
His death wasn't unexpected, but Nightingale couldn't. Wouldn't. Accept it.
And the world, his oyster, the jewel that existed for his benefit, would suffer for taking Lux from him.
