How to get a free Geno:

  Make a journal, post, etc. on an art/lit site that allows advertisements with a link to the website and our anniversary beta event. We want to spread the celebration and free genos as far as we can! 

 Your next task will be to figure out what you'd like for your free semi-custom geno! This is a "thank you" from the group for taking part in our celebrations! Read the limitations below carefully:

Base semi-customs include:

• • Ww litter size gene + a lineage
  • Player's choice of a Smooth Feathered ketucari of one of the following formats
    • 4 common genes
    • 3 common genes + 1 uncommon gene
    • 2 uncommon genes
    • 1 rare gene
  • Uncommon marking may be swapped for horns as horns are considered genes OR an additional common marking
  • An uncommon gene may be used to apply tint or any of the Dun Modifier Coats or Sheen Modifier Coats!
  • A rare gene may be used to apply a feather type that is NOT smooth!
  • Any subspecies build released at the time of June 2026 may be chosen 
    You may want to take a look through our Design guides  to see the various gene options! Common genes are any with a pass rate of 45+. Uncommon have a pass rate of 20-40. Rare have a pass rate of anything below 20. 
  • IMPORTANT TOS NOTE: Free Beta Week semicustoms cannot be sold for real liife currency. They may be traded or gifted.

Finally, make a comment on this news post with a link to your advertisement and the Geno you'd like! You may ask for a randomized Geno if you'd like.

Update!

We would like to give a chance to get an even more exciting semi-custom so we are offering the chance to add an additional gene by giving a gift to another player! 

If you create gift art or literature for another player you may upgrade your base semi-custom with your choice of Either a Feather type OR +1 gene of any rarity! Limit of 1 per person.
This would mean with gift art your semi custom format options would look like this
Feather type + 4 common genes
Feather type + 3 common genes + 1 uncommon gene
Feather type + 2 common genes
Feather type + 1 Rare gene
4 common genes + 1 gene of any rarity
3 common genes + 1 uncommon gene + 1 gene of any rarity
2 common genes + 1 gene of any rarity
1 rare gene + 1 gene of any rarity

You can search for ketucari who allow gift art and/or lit by using the advanced search options in the character masterlist page. There’s also a dedicated channel in our discord for people to share ketucari that they’d love to receive gift art/lit for!

This event has now been extended until August 1st to allow for plenty of time to complete art/lit.
