Kouki's a bitter ketucari. He's quiet and keeps to himself and spends most of his time with his head low and feathers puffed. That's until he steps into a race. Then he's all charming smiles, flashing teeth, posing and flaunting. Cocky, a little full of himself, and very smug when racing, Kouki is small and fast and knows it.
His mother left him and his siblings with Sahar as cubs, with no explanation. They were too young to understand anyways. The old city beame their playground, and Kouki especially strove to master the deep alleys. Kouki outside of the race track is a very different ket. The bitterness shows in spades- until it doesn't. Around those he trusts-- his family, Sahar, his fellow racing orphans-- Kouki is a bundle of sweetness and cuddles. He will the the first to help you patch up your injuries from the latest race or call for a medic.
He lives for the race. It puts money on the table and more than that, it's dangerous and fun. If he isn't skulking about like a moody teenager, he's training, pouring everything he has into getting better. Into finally mastering the roofs.
Kouki is also allergic to tact and will say whatever is on his mind at any given time. If he thinks you're ugly, you're gonna know it. If he wants a romp in the alley, you'll know that, too.

He has a vicious rivalry with his sister in the races, but outside the races they're nigh-inseparable and aggressively supportive and care about each other.
