In Seijalka's forest, she often wanders at night in search of orphans who are abandoned there by parents who hope the forest god and his followers can provide for them. Ikhanya guides these children back to the forest village, where she also helps to raise them. Ikhanya is humble and modest like the god she follows. While she would much rather be at home, she has joined the search for the Winter King for the good of the children she has left behind.
