Quite a few people around here have reported engaging in battle with forged elementals made of lava rock, flame, and magma around the entrance to Hel's lair. They aren't causing a problem unless you're trying to raid Hel's keep, but I've found they're worth killing for another reason. You've heard that forged elementals are held together by a magic item at their core, yes? Well, as these were created by a god and not a mortal wizard, their cores are a bit... different. If you manage to bring down one of the forged elementals, try eating its heart. If it doesn't kill you, its power imbued in it by Hel will spread through your being."

I think the source of their mania lies with a beast of Anti's creation that I've seen moving through the jungle for the past for days. The only problem is that the closer I get to the creature, the more perasytes I've got to fend off. Help me fight my way through the swarm so that I may put an end to this madness!"

"Alright, I definitely need your help with this one. I found some ruins beneath the tree roots and I'm not exactly sure of what they are yet, but if its a tomb the treasure could be incredible! The problem is that an abnormally huge dragon has made its lair inside. It is immense and too strong for any one of us. There is no way around it, as its own body is as thick as the tunnels themselves, and if it goes mad it may bring the tunnels down. If we want to get the resources we need a distraction before it can see us.  If you help me out I will share my treasure fairly."

"Poisons and venoms are my specialty! I've been commissioned by a Lucedarian tribe to create a way to make their warriors less susceptible to clever enemies who seek to take them down with discreet methods. This place is the perfect area in which to gather all sorts of poison and venom samples, what with the incredibly biodiversity. I've got almost everything I need, and as it stands I've only two more items on my checklist to acquire. One is a poison thorn from a gigantic man-eating plant known as a Manglesnap. The other is a drop of venom from a spider the size of an armatherium, known as a Black Bloodweaver. If you'd help me obtain one, I'll be sure to give you some of my finished product!"

"This place is one of Anti's favorite targets for spreading death and disease through his minions. We've fought so many horrors to protect this place, seen so many atrocities... and yet, for some reason this latest transgression against the Tangle seems worst of all. A group of powerful demons has been moving through the villages scattered about the rainforests, slaughtering everyone in their path and using necromancy to enslave the souls before they can return to the planet's lifestream. They must be disposed of, and those souls set free. It is the right thing to do, but if that isn't enough of a reward for you, you may receive a blessing from Saoirse for aiding the effort."

Alright, what's most important is to remember that most creatures here do not behave like the mortal creatures. Brute force won't do you much good-- even if you rip all of their limbs off, they will still crawl restlessly for a taste of your blood and their horrible screeches will just attract more of them. You will discover that subtlety can determine who wins the fight, especially against a stronger rival! Now go get one of those alseers. Remember that using physical attacks wont be of any use, as they will see you coming at every turn with their multiple eyes around their body."

"A sickness has been spreading through our pack's young. We suspect it was brought back by a group that recently returned from an expedition to Lucedar. We've seen nothing like it before. The good news is that one of our allies from Pack Lekos is here in Darsha, an apothecary named Ashoka. If we can get one of the afflicted cubs to him, he can study the symptoms and find a cure. The bad news... the quickest way to Ashoka's camp is through Antikutan. A swift volunteer will need to carry one of the cubs safely across Antikutan and to Ashoka's camp as soon as possible. Travel lightly, avoid the demons of Antikutan, and above all, keep that cub safe."

"You aren't supposed to be here, but you've put quite a fight and proven yourself as a brave and strong warrior. We have decided to let you go in exchange for a favor. A group of our hunters stumbled upon a group of automatons gathering in one of our hunting areas. They seem to be looking for abandoned akadri machinery under the snow and they have destroyed all the forests in the surrounding area and scared all the prey away! Our dasrah magic didn't seem to affect them much, as they are built with incredibly dense metals, but your talik might be the answer. I guess there's nothing else to explain, get them or we will get you and this time we wont let you go."

After finding themselves in a life or death situation in the Kanibar Snowfields (the circumstances are up to you), they have been forced to use it. Depict your ketucari's reaction to using this skill, either while casting it or after seeing its effects. Honor will be given for reactions that show regret, sadness, horror, etc., while notoriety will be given for those who somehow enjoyed the experience. Be sure to specify which you are going for when submitting this quest.

"Winter makes this place quite possibly the most difficult place on Velukaelo in which to survive. To make things worse, there is at least a week a year where the sun only shines for a few hours, if at all. The cold is so bitter, it seems like your feathers will want to fall off. This is also the time that Yaral sends our young out in a group to fend for themselves until the days grow longer. It is a coming of age ritual, and helps harden them for the years to come. However, we are not cruel and will not let them die if we can help it. We always send at least one chaperone to trail the youngsters and intervene if they happen upon anything they can't handle. It's exhausting work, but the first-hand experience for our cubs is priceless."

"I'm going to let you in on a little secret, but only because there's a chance I might get to watch you being fried alive. I got curious about these salamanders a while back. We're always fighting them, but I wanted to take a chance to study them and see what I could learn from them, because they're damn good little warriors. I.... accidentally befriended one or two of them... okay, five of them. About a week ago, I was walking along the coast with them-- unbeknownst to their guardian of course-- when they suddenly gathered around me and started spitting fire at me! I thought I was done for, but strangely enough, the flames didn't burn. In fact, they felt rather cool. The little shits seemed rather pleased with themselves for getting the jump on me, as well. Since then, I've noticed I've been able to withstand harder hits in battle. I think, and I'm not one hundred percent sure on this, but I think they might've given me and blessing for not murdering them. Why don't you help me test that theory?"

"Listen up, we're on a mission to score one of the rarest goods on the planet, and it's going to take a lot of skill and even more luck to pull it off! If you think garonite is the hardest material out there, you're dead wrong. The only thing stronger than that is dragon eggs. Not just any dragon eggs though--  they have to be from the clutches of Garoch and his mate. We just got wind that their latest clutch has hatched and the egg shell fragments are just waiting on the inside of their cave nest to be snatched up. The trick is getting in and out without being burned to a crisp by Garoch. With new hatchlings to protect, he's gotten even more territorial than usual. Some of us are going to go in and snatch up the egg shells while a greheli team covers us with a forcefield. Be on guard for when the big fellow swoops down. It's not a matter of if, but when!"

"So, you finally started learning the skills that pay the bills, huh? Rad! I've got the perfect way for you to test out your gliding. See that ravine down below? Apparently, there's some sort of forged rock elemental down there that's been setting off some impressive rock slides. It wouldn't be a problem except for that route's the only one through these mountains. My guess is some competing merchants got into a tiff and paid off a rogue Lucedarian to create the thing to block the route. Every forged elemental's got a weak spot, usually a magic-imbued talisman at the center of their body. Your job will be to glide down into the ravine and locate the forged elemental, then rip out its heart. It won't be as easy as it sounds, especially with some gnarly weather approaching. Your gliding will also come in handy when it starts flinging boulders at you. On the plus side, the ravine tends to get pretty drafty so you'll have some winds to use to your advantage. Good luck, you're gonna need it!"
